i went for a school's investiture today i must say that i didnt enjoy it.. upon arrival we didnt know whr the entrance was and entered the back gate, as there were hordes of students going out... when we attempted to (and succeeded) to get through the back gate, we heard the school's student scolding us, "Intruders Intruders and c*** j* b**" Seriously, we are the guests so please mind your language.

Upon reaching the canteen, 2 girls saw us, said hi and handshook. One of them had really strong good handshake, but sadly afterwards left us to wander around and no one approched us.

In the hall, we were required to write in their guestbook. When i was writing, a couple of them were reading out what i was writing. Sure, what i wrote was meant to be seen, but at that particular moment when im writing, could you please not read it aloud and comment that what i wrote was 'normal' (thats just my pride talking, or not...)

It was supposed to begin at 2.30pm. We waited till 2.50pm. I guess the queen is always late?

The long ceremony began. I must comment that it was really weird. The white skirts of the student leaders were not the same, some had slits, some didnt, some wore 'blazer-type' white skirt, some were jean-material skirt hmm... Some bowed to the audience, some didnt. Some haven't finished shaking the teacher's hand and attempted to run off with it? Some walked really slowly like they wanted people to wait for them. Some wore a really '不爽' look on their faces. Okay thats just plain mean of me, but all truth and facts. I just really like the way they memorised the pledge and sang the school song really loudly and recited the school creed nicely.

I wasn't too sure about the principal's speech, but oh well, i carn say much about that can i?

I wasnt too sure about the president's speech, where he 'guessed' and he 'thinks' and he was insecure about being president... i think he's fine, should have more confidence in himself, like Peter with the capital P riiiiight.

We had refreshments. No one invited us to eat, the teacher did. Oh and we met one of our school's teacher, wonder why he's there though.

After refreshments, no one came to talk to us, no activities, no one told us if it was over.... We wandered and stoned and waited. Zilch. Then they came to us for feedbacks and hope we are enjoying ourselves and went off their merry ways. Okiiie, lets not be too hard on them... They did invite HCI and some other weird schools that i've never heard of. They seemed quite crude. They wanted us to take polaroid pictures and donate to Japan, not that I do not want to, but is it right? Guests, who comes for your err... ceremony?

We did have to carry our bags everywhere you know.

I don't really get it. Somehow.
