ZONED OUT
Thursday, April 8, 2010

i keep zoning out.
i think its a bad thing.
like i stare into space, not thinking about anything in particularly but just out of my mind.
ohno, i just clicked something on the net about this, that says something bad about zoning.
oh, its a good thing.
wait lemme quote.
The regions of the brain that become active during mind wandering belong to two
important networks. One is known as the executive control system. Located mainly
in the front of the brain, these regions exert a top-down influence on our
conscious and unconscious thought, directing the brain's activity toward
important goals.

so uhm im stressed?
haha, out of my life man no way!
i think im having weird thinking/thoughts stuffs.
like its alright to waste time.
and talking to ugh people is fine.
okay my standard soo drop.
you gotta keep up man girl!
okay zoning out is called hyperfocus.
From a medical viewpoint, hyperfocus is thought to result from abnormally
low levels of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that is particularly active in
the brain's frontal lobes. This dopamine deficiency makes it hard to "shift
gears" to take up boring-but-necessary tasks.

which shows BIG time that geog essay is boring. hahaha.
