Lost In Austen

Lost in Austen is amazingly written.

Its like a fairytale that is rewritten, all the amazing spinoffs... of course, the original does has its perks but how everything should have ended... wow.

It is clear that the writer Guy Andrews has a clear liking for Wickham, the supposedly antagonist in the book, and Georgiana, the supposedly innocent vulnerable sister of Mr Darcy turned out to be someone else rather shockingingly hateful.

Bringing the then-era modern second daughter Mr Bennett to the modern world of London, she definitely has blend in well and im afraid is adapting far more well than Amanda Price, the girl from the future/real world.

Funny thing was that Ms Bingley, turned out strange. She was a lady alright, but not a proper one... Seemingly in the end, her preferences might have changed, seeing how she had somewhat a connection with Wickham.

The amazing speech said by Mr Bennett in the end turned out to be spoken by Mrs Bennett, but Mr Bennett had a duel with Mr Bingley for running away with Lydia, something Jane Austen wrote was the thing that Mrs Bennett feared, but happened anyways in Lost in Austen. Mrs Bennett turned out to have more of a conscious, seeing Jane, originally wrongly married to Collins, felt bad and wept. She had more zest in her. Good for her.

Things goes as planned in the end, except little bits of error and changes that cannot be resolved. Besides Jane Austen probably rolling about in her grave, and minor critics falling everywhere, i must say the 4-part serial has done exceedingly more than expectably well.

Well, perhaps in the end, it just shows that things come as they come, and things go as they will. True happiness might find you in the end and perhaps fantasy might become reality. You'll never know when your bathroom wall/door might lead you to your favourite book's existance. Of course, you and I know this would never happen :)
